New "Morphs" of Corn Snakes
"Morph" being a generic term for any patter, color, design, style, phase of
a snake. This page will be dedicated to new and fairly new Morphs of corn
snakes and their kin. I will place them under the proper category after
they have been around for a while.
- Golden Corn -
- Terrazzo -
- Tessera -
- Orchid -
- Platinum -
- Wide Stripe -
- Paradox -
- Masque - Mimic of the diffused gene, but proven independent, and may be sex linked. The head pattern takes
on the "skull" look, the ground color expands, and has a hypo-like look. The belly checkers are pushed to the
side, causing a blank stripe down the middle. Testing with out-crosses is ongoing.
- Mostly White Mutant - One currently in captivity. Breeding trials underway. Possibly one other spotted in wild
- Blushing Corns - Available for purchase this year, but the genetics are a being withheld as a trade secret
(VMS professional Herpetoculture)
- Unnamed Plain belly - Snakes appear to have the plain belly of a motley corn snake, but have a few random
belly checkers. Dorsal pattern is unchanged. Breeding trials underway.
- Snowflake - White spotting on a snake that is not present at hatching, but appears as the snake ages and
grows
*** I would like to thank the Cornsnake Morph Guide and the world wide web, where I get much of my information.***
