Genetic Pattern Phases
Motley - The motley trait tends to elongate the saddles and make
them join on the sides resulting in a circular space seperating the
saddles. The black border to the saddles seems to be affected and
normal Motley corns seem to have less black altogether. This pattern
also erases, or scatters the side blotches. The belly of Motley corns also
lack belly checker patterns, making it all white.

- Hurricane, Bullseye, Donut Motely Corns - occur when small circles
outlined by a darker color are all thats left of the ground color - Corns
can
Not be Het for the Hurricane pattern. Motley is genetic, Hurricane
motley is not

- Cubed Motley is fairly new to the market and results when the saddles
take a square shape. Much is unknown, including whether there is
anything genetic behind this pattern.

Motley Stripe - This is the same gene as Motley, but different
allele. Motley stripe is distinguished from "true Stripes" by the width of
the stripes. Motley stripes have a thin central stripe, sometimes of
varying width. The stripe can be broken and then reformed farther
down the snakes' back.
Stripe (4-Lined Stripe) - These Corns have two dark stripes
running down their back with ground color between the stripes and on
either side as well. This makes it appear as if the stripe was the thick
band of ground color running down the middle of the back. The side
patterns appear to become stripes that are broken.
