Genetic Combinations
Snow -  A double recessive trait. It is a combination of Anerythristic A and Amelanistic
genes. These snakes lack both red and black color pigments. Some snows still exhibit
yellow coloring. There are other color variations of snow including..

- Green-Blotched or Green - These snows exhibit a green/yellow undertone. These are
selectively bred and snakes can NOT be het for green snow.

- Bubblegum / Srawberry - These snows have more of a pink tone in the white background.
These snows are selectively bred and corn snakes can NOT be Het for bubblegum.

- Coral Snows are a combination of three genes; Amelanism, Anerythristic A,
Hypomelanistic. These snakes are very pink. Some call line-bred snows with lots of pink
coloring "Coral Snows". It is important to know which is which.

Blizzard - This is a double recessive trait that is very similar to Snow. It is a combination
of Charcoal (Anerythristic B) and Amelanism. These snakes are pure white, lacking even
the yellow that snows sometimes develop. This is not to be confussed with Leucism (The
lack of all color and pattern). There is no know Leucistic Corn snake existing today

Butter - Combination of Amelanistic and Caramel genes, Double Recessive trait. This
corn has a hyperxanthic (excessive producing yellow pigment) snow corn.

Amber - Combination of Hypomelanistic and Caramel genes, double recessive trait.
These corns have light brown saddles on a tan to yellow ground color.

Ghost - Double Recessive trait, combo of Hypomelanistic and Anerythristic A genes.
Colors are light grey, often brown, or tan, and some develop pastel colors.

Phantom (Charcoal Ghost) - Double recessive trait, combination of Charcoal
(Anerythristic B) and Hypomelanistic genes. Very similar to Anery A ghosts, but seem to
be lighter and some develop purple or lavender tones, where as the tans, browns of
Ghosts are not represented in Phantoms.

Pewter (Pepper, Anery B Bloodred) - Combination of Diffused and
Charcoal (Anery B) genes, double recessive trait. This is a medium gray snake with
dorsal blotches that fade into the ground color as they age. Some snakes have a
dusting (freckles) of black.

Opal (Pearl) - Double Recessive trait, a combination of Amelanistic and Lavender
genes. These snakes resemble a reverse Snow corn, with the ground color having the
pink/purple and the blotches are white

Granite (Anery A bloodred) - This is a combination of the diffused gene
and anery A. These snakes do not take on the blended look over their whole body.
Mainly the sides appear diffused. The saddles are still present. Granite corns appear
to be sexually Dimorphic as hatchlings, which means you can tell a male from a
female by color alone. Males have a tendency to have more pink tones to their sides

GoldDust - This is a combination of Ultra/Ultramel and Caramel. These snakes
look like Butter corns, except for the presence of a small amount of melanin.

Ultramel (Ultra Amel) - This is a "combination" of the Ultra and the Amel
genes. An Ultramel is a corn snake that is heterozygous for both Ultra (Hypo) and
Amelanism. These snakes often times have ruby red eyes. For a more in depth
explanation, check out SerpenCo. , At this link

Fire (Amel Blood) - This is a combination of the amel gene and diffused
pattern. This combination often gives an extremely bright red snake, taking on
an improved "sunglow" look.

Plasma (Lavender Blood) - This is a combination of Lavender gene and
Diffused pattern. These snakes vary in color greatly, from light silvery to dark gray
pewters, but with less "brown" colors and a deep lavender to a light, almost pastel
lavender.

Combinations With the Diffused Pattern
Sulfur (Butter Blood) - This is a genetic combination of 3 genes; Diffused,
Caramel and amel.
Avalanche (Snow Blood) - This is a combination of 3 genes; Amel, Anery and
Diffused. I have not seen many of these snakes in the general public.

Whiteout (Blizzard Blood) - This is a combination of 3 genes; Amel, Charcoal
and diffused. Basically this snake is what you'd imagine a blizzard bloodred would look
like.
